AZ Armaturen is a family-owned German manufacturer of industrial valves for chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas and many more industries.

Globally AZ is employing more than 600 people spread over 5 production sites in Germany, Brazil, China, USA, South Africa, and numerous service centres.


For our branch in Houston Tx, we are hiring:

Branch Manager

Location:
Houston, Texas (USA)

Founded in 2017,
AZ Valves North America LP is responsible for North American Market activities within the AZ Group. Since its establishment AZ Valves has achieved rapid growth year by year. Responsibilities at the Houston Branch include sales, production, service, automation, and stock keeping for the North American market.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Management of branch operations including production, automation, service, and logistics with approx. 15 employees.
  • Manage Sales team including inside and outside sales personnel.
  • Set annual goals and objectives for subordinates and participate in the development of individual performance plans.
  • Maintenance of customer relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Communication and support in strategic matters with parent company in Germany.
  • Counselling and disciplining employees.
  • Recruiting personnel as required.
  • Enforcing Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality objectives and QM system.
  • Responsible for manufacturing area EHS policies and procedures implementation.

Job Requirements:


  • Strong technical and commercial background paired with entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Experience in manufacturing and sale of highly technical products
  • Multiple years of experience in business management and overseeing employees
  • Familiar with modern production processes, technologies, management methods, budgeting, and overall cost optimization
  • Hands on mentality, problem solving mindset.
  • Fluent in English, proficient in German
  • Experience in working within an American company and used to business practices.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Highly reliable
