We are now recruiting a
Human Resources Assistant (Germany and Denmark) for a Fixed Term Contract (10 months) to be based at our offices in Dusseldorf.


The role of HR Assistant for Germany and Denmark is a broad, junior generalist role partnering an exciting growing business with all the challenges that can be expected in a highly competitive, dynamic market.

You will focus on delivering HR support to our teams in Germany and Denmark with an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to our business leaders, helping them shape and deliver best in class people solutions.


The role requires occasionally travel to the other German offices in Frankfurt and Munich, Hellerup (Copenhagen), as well as if needed to travel to other European offices such as Luxembourg, London, Paris and Barcelona, and to Houston (USA).


Job Purpose


You will play an important support role to the German and Danish teams on a full spectrum of people related topics; employee relations, team structure, talent development, performance and pay
. You will also ensure that HR procedures, systems, processes and controls are maintained to a high level of accuracy.


You will have the opportunity to work on various topical German and Danish HR projects, working also alongside well-respected Human Resources teams in Europe, UK and the US.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational support in the entire spectrum of modern, international HR work (Employment Law, HR Controlling, Employee Relations, Recruitment, HR Administration, Learning and Development, Payroll and Benefits, Occupational Safety, HR Projects) in close collaboration with the HR Manager Germany and Denmark.
  • Single point of contact for the time management system (support, optimization, corrections, annual calendar, approval runs, holiday and absence track etc).
  • Collection and preparation of payroll instructions in close collaboration with the payroll department.
  • Maintenance and optimization of HR Systems and platforms (Workday, BOX, Jobvite, ICAS etc).
  • Digitalization of employee files and tagging these documents in BOX (Content Management System).
  • Administrative responsibility for Recruitment and Onboarding activities using Jobvite.
  • Organization of internal and external trainings, employee jubilees and performance reviews.
  • Maintenance and optimization of HR processes and workflows.
  • Organization of social events and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Participation in global HR projects and meetings and followup.
  • Issuance of A1 certificates and PSVaG notifications.
  • Preparation of HR statistics and metrics in close collaboration with the HR Manager.
  • CSR administrational support.
  • Dealing with all IDD related topics.
  • Preparation of ASAmeetings (Health and Safety) together with DEKRA and the company doctor.
  • Adhoc HR projects and tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Successfully completion of an apprenticeship (Personalsachbearbeiter/In) or similar qualification, training as Human Resources Specialist.
  • First experience (up to 2 years) in Human Resources Management desirable.
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Danish would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office) and ideally HR related systems.
  • Team player and high degree of customer orientation.
  • Flexibility, Openmindedness, and a positive cando attitude.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Willingness and motivation to learn the entire range of national and international Human Resources work.
