Job Summary:

In your role you are responsible for the security and risk management of all information assets of the company.

You advise on the use of technologies, but also on the creation or modification of business processes and procedures to be able to implement requirements arising from legal or other regulatory requirements within the framework of guidelines, work instructions, etc., and thus avoid possible security gaps.

Your tasks:

Tactical and strategic responsibility for information security
Creation, implementation and monitoring of the security strategy and resulting concepts (approved by management)
Regular reporting to management
Responsibility and control by the information security risk management
Technical management of the information security organization
Responsibility for updating and continuous improvement of the ISMS (Information Security Management System) and the necessary documents
Creation, implementation and monitoring of information security guidelines and work instructions (policies and SOPs)
Assessment of information security controls (including ISO27001 Annex A, SOC2 Controls) for adequacy and effectiveness
Handling information security incidents
Initiates, monitors, and evaluates IT security audits
Works closely with the person responsible for data protection
Internal point of contact for all employees on information security issues
Organization of training courses on information security / in particular creation of awareness and a culture for information security (awareness)

Your background:

Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or information security
Training as information security manager and auditor (e.g. CISM, CISA)
Indepth knowledge of the design, implementation and auditing of information security management systems (ISMS)
Sound knowledge of the ISO/IEC 2700x series
Relevant technical knowledge in the field of IT and information security
Good Knowledge in the field of risk management and business processes
Knowledge of European and German data protection law (DSGVO, BDSG)
High level of social competence and communication skills as well as strong didactic ability
Entrepreneurial thinking with a high degree of goal orientation
Very good English and German skills, both written and spoken
