Senior Scientist Cell Biology
The mission of Open Sesame Therapeuticsis to develop delivery systems for macromolecule therapeutics.

By exploiting the knowledge of endocytosis and endosomal transport, we aim to identify novel receptors and ligands for targeting macromolecule therapeutics to specific cells or tissues and develop new approaches to improve endosomal escape of macromolecule therapeutics.

Open Sesame Therapeutics is looking for a highly motivated senior scientist with strong background in cell biology to work in an interdisciplinary project that aims to identify novel receptors on endosomal compartments.

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person who is well organized, flexible, and reliable and enjoys working in a team.

Required qualifications
- a doctoral degree in life science or similar
- documented experience in molecular biology and cell biology techniques
- expertise in the isolation and characterization of cellular organelles, as well as biomarker identification
- at least one first-author publication

• English proficiency, excellent communication and data presentations skills

- experience in protein expression, purification and characterization would be advantageous

• Experience in massspectrometry, bioinformatics and scientific computing

- project management skills
