About the Role

The system architect is responsible for the architecture designs of display systems to bring to life new display products and features that will surprise and delight Harman customers.

He/she is taking lead in internal/external technical communication and working closely with peer teams globally in Harman and Samsung.

What You Will Do

Architecture designs for automotive display product lines
Partition the system functions to hardware blocks and define the architecture diagram
Carry out prediction, measurement, and optimization on electrical performance KPIs, related to IOC, FPGA and interface solutions
Analysis, concepts, and reviews of internal and external requests through the project and their impact on the system architecture
Participation in and evaluation of optical, mechanical, software, hardware and product design reviews, problem resolution and FMEA analyses
Analyze the interface bandwidth in system design (high speed links, serial ports, memory)
Provide solution proposal for key system function/performance issues
Develop Systems Engineering in compliance to ASPICE standards
Cooperates with peer domains for all above in Harman and Samsung
Review the HW/SW architecture to keep in line with each other
Feedback to HW/SW architecture design for continuous improvement
Benchmark on latest automotive solutions (display peripheral devices, User Interfaces and products), with analysis reports
Work with global team to drive the technology roadmap
Support local/global RFQ/RFI, platform and projects execution
Promote Harman Display products to OEM customers

What You Need

Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or appropriate graduation
10+ years of professional experience architecting or developing for display systems
Strong background in IOC, networks, Automotive Video solutions (SERDES and image processing), Display Optical, hardware and software architecture
Experience in functional safety and cybersecurity is a plus
Team player in multidomain and multinational culture
Fluent English communication skills
