Who we are

Milano Vice, founded in 2021, is a German food-consumer startup that has emerged as the leading virtual restaurant brand, boasting a network of over 50 stores.

Through a capital-efficient concept, it leverages gastronomes' existing kitchen infrastructure and spare capacity to produce pizzas optimized for delivery and allow our customers to enjoy the little moments in life.

What we're looking for

Tasks

Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring longterm financial sustainability and profitability.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans, monitor performance, and provide regular variance analysis.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, monitor working capital, and ensure effective cash flow forecasting to support operational needs and optimize liquidity.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and ROI evaluations, to support strategic decisionmaking and drive operational efficiencies.
Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, manage investor relations activities, and provide regular updates on financial performance and growth opportunities.
Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a highperforming finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, to provide financial insights, support business initiatives, and contribute to overall company strategy.

Requirements:

4+ years' experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success (preferably in a B2C food/restaurantrelated industry)
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar role, preferably in a startup or fastgrowing company.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Solid understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Experience in managing investor relations and working with external stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Familiarity with financial software systems and ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing highperforming teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.
