Deutsche Windtechnik Offshore & Consulting is specialized in the technical maintenance of offshore wind turbines.

More than 2.100 employees ensure reliable operation around the clock for more than 6,000 turbines - onshore and offshore, in Europe, Taiwan, and the USA.

Within Deutsche Windtechnik AG, we have various subsidiaries with different focuses, e.g., onshore wind, offshore wind, and wind farm technology.

The Role
You will research, draft reports, and help prepare documents and execute technical evaluation.

You will be learning from our in-house experts and helping clients deliver safe, functional, and best-performed wind farms for the decades to come.

As a working student, you will be part of a team that develops go-to-market strategies, delivers consulting service.

In addition to working closely with your team, you will have the opportunity to interact with other departments within Deutsche Windtechnik regularly.

Your internship will open new working opportunities after your studies.


You are available at least 20h/week, for at least 6 months.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • You conduct projectrelated research and help write reports, prepare presentations, workshops, kickoff meetings, etc.
  • From scratch, you will help prepare service concepts and strategies.
  • You will support the project team with key stakeholders within our partner organizations to generate adoption, renewals, and new information or opportunities.
  • You will work with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other corporate software.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in university or almost complete your study or recently graduate (ideally Master or Diploma degrees, studying wind energy systems, naval architecture, ocean engineering or mechanical engineering, etc.) with a great interest in working in wind energy sector.
  • You have excellent skills in conducting research, compiling information, writing essays, reports, and preparing of illustrations, etc.
  • You are keen to execute technical evaluation and to learn more about new technical solutions in offshore wind (i.e., floating wind concepts)
  • You possess excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills.
  • You have excellent spoken and written English skills, having German skills is a plus.
  • You have strong analysis, decisionmaking, and critical thinking skills.
  • You have excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • You are collaborative and have strong communication skills.
