_Global Controlling_ department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Business Intelligence Coordinator (f/m/d)

Global Controlling

Full time and permanent


Your key responsibilities:

  • Help to build the planning and reporting structure of the future in line with the overall growth strategy of Evotec in an SAP environment
  • Coordinate and lead the financerelated groupwide Business Intelligence (BI) projects (This comprises various systems (such as TM1, Cognos Analytics, Data Warehouse, IFS, SAP, Tableau, etc.))
  • Interact as interface between Global Controlling and experts in IT as well as other business functions
  • Work closely with programmers, developers and external consultants
  • Develop and enhance these tools further
  • Ensure the successful implementation of the new Data Warehouse Strategy together with Global Business IT (GB-IT)
  • Drive change processes and implement new structures and systems
  • Ensure SOX compliance within the BI processes and systems
  • Manage system upgrades and testing
  • Interface to the Global Controlling team, GB-IT and the Finance Project Management Office (FPMO)
  • Integrate new entities into the reporting environment
  • Execute changes in reporting structure
  • Harmonize group processes and systems
  • Stay up to date with most recent developments and continuous enhancement of BI tools
  • Coordinate and improve groupwide planning processes in line with Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Support all planning related topics technically and do quality control

Your ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master' degree in Economics, Business Informatics or Mathematics
  • Several years of work experience in an international environment
  • Experienced data scientist with knowledge in data bases, ERP systems and planning and reporting tools (ideally Cognos TM1, Cognos Analytics, SQL Server, Snowflake, Tableau)
  • Knowhow in business and IT
  • First project management experience
  • Problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to unfold highly complex tasks
  • Experience with selfservice BI (ideally Tableau)
  • Indepth knowledge of Evotec processes, systems and structure is of strong advantage
  • Certified datascientist with experience in programming would be ideal
  • Experience in SAP/S4 Hana implementation would be a plus
  • Experience in IT project management tools (Kanban, Scrum, etc) is ideal
  • Experience with US listed companies (SOX requirements) is of an advantage
  • Team player with the willingness to take over responsibility
  • Ability to prioritize and work in an agile environment
  • Friendly and confident appearance to instruct consultants and colleagues on same or lower levels
  • Good communication skills in English
