The following challanges await you:


  • Your primary responsibility as an Inside Sales Representative (m/w/d) is to manage a group of accounts (e.g. "C" customers). This requires to focus on the early stages of the sales process to attract and develop demand from both existing customers, and more importantly, new prospects through an approved lead qualification process.
  • You coordinate our eCommerce initiative and represent a permanent point of contact for defined customers.
  • You proactively make contact with assigned accounts on a regular basis, follow up on internet leads and selective tradeshow leads, and provide support to sales and marketing campaigns.
  • In addition, your responsibilities include conducting market research, target identification, information assembly, strategic message development, and tactical delivery of prospecting campaigns.
  • Furthermore, you collaborate with the Account Managers, Technical Sales, and Operations as well as other internal departments in order to successfully manage accounts and develop sales.
  • You will capture customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, for future followup and lead qualification in CRM.
  • You are responsible for developing and driving a credible and productive longterm relation at various levels and disciplines, in order to maximizing the value (top
- and bottom-line) of the short & long term business with the account for Heraeus.
  • Besides, you support the Customer Service Team in the OTC process for defined Key Accounts.

Your profile:


  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship (studies in the field of business are desirable) as well as experience in the mentioned field of Inside Sales
  • Good knowledge in the field of precious metals and/or chemical catalysis is a plus
  • First experience in sales, as well as in customer care and interface communication with other areas
  • Confident in the use of common Microsoft Office programs, as well as in the preparation of analyses as well as practical experience with SAP
  • Fluent English is required in the daily work routine further language skills are desirable
  • High degree of initiative and personal responsibility and initial experience working in agile teams
