Responsibilities:


  • In your role as Controller (M/F/d), you will act as interface for the finance business partners of the business units as well as for the EMEA Corporate and Medical functional areas for all financerelated processes and matters (especially month end closing, planning and reporting)
  • You provide executive summaries and consolidated comments for relevant management reporting and presentations
  • You will have a high level of autonomy in supporting projects in the finance area to optimize existing processes or projects with crossbusiness unit/ functional character in coordination with your management
  • You will drive the identification and implementation of improvements and necessary changes in finance processes in order to optimize operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Furthermore, you actively manage the European planning and forecast process of the business units and functional areas from a crossfunctional perspective and are responsible for the planning of crossfunctional topics (e.g., personnel costs, freight costs, and others)
  • You will act as a competent contact person and foster communication with the European subsidiaries as well as with counterparts in the global organization
  • In addition, you will work closely with the EMEA Shared Service Center and collaborate with departments like HR and SCM
Your qualification

  • You have successfully completed a degree in economics, preferably with a focus on finance / controlling
  • You have already gained several years of experience in the field of finance / controlling in an international company or in a consulting firm
  • You bring excellent skills in MS Office and a solid knowledge of IFRS and ERP SAP
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in working with Hyperion and the planning software Board
  • Fluent written and spoken English, analytical thinking, system affinity and excellent communication skills are required
  • Independent, goaloriented work as well as the ability to work in a team and drive for improvements complete your profile
