As part of Camtek's growth we recently acquired FRT Metrology.

FRT Metrology manufactures 3D surface measurement technology for research and production. Our high-precision measuring instruments are based on the SurfaceSensTM multi-sensor concept and are equipped with in-house developed software.

The multiple award-winning measuring systems provide (also fully automatically) information about the topography, step height, roughness, layer thickness and many other parameters, contact-free and non-destructive. Depending on the application, different measuring methods can be combined with point, line, area and layer thickness sensors and atomic force microscopy in one measuring instrument - measuring ranges can vary from meters to sub-nanometers.

NPI Engineer

Als New Product Introduction Engineer (m/w/d) sind Sie verangwortlich für die Überführung neuer Produkte aus der Entwicklung in die Fertigung. Sie arbeiten eigenverantwortlich im NPI-Prozess mit 'Design to Manufacturing' – Maßnahmen, um über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus ein kostenoptimiertes Produkt zu entwickeln, das sich zügig und nahtlos in die Fertigung überführen lässt und einen schnellen Markteintritt ermöglicht.

Arbeitsbereich:

· abteilungsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklung, Produktion, und Qualitätsmanagement

· Planung und Durchführung von Design Reviews

· Auswahl und Qualifizierung von Komponenten

· Produktionstaugliche Umsetzung von Entwicklungen

· Erfahrung in der Leitung eines Prozesses, der die Technik, Logistik und Prüfbarkeit umfasst.

· Leitung eines abteilungsübergreifenden Projektteams (QA, Technik, Service, Produktion, Lieferkette, Planung).

Qualifikationen:

· Hochschulstudium (Diplom/Master), vorzugsweise im Bereich Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Physik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung

· Berufserfahrung im technischen Bereich in der Prozessplanung, Entwicklung oder Produktbetreuung bzw. im PLM und/oder NPI/SCM Prozess

· Erfahrung mit der Hardwareentwicklung und dem Designprozess

· Erfahrung mit ERP Systemen, SAP und PLM sind von Vorteil

· Verwaltung von Produktplänen und Erfahrung mit MS Project

· Fähigkeit, einen Prozess zu leiten, der Technik, Logistik und Prüfbarkeit umfasst.

· verhandlungssichere schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch

· Gute schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch

· Teamfähigkeit

In English:

As a New Product Introduction Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for leading and transferring products from R&D to production. You will work independently in the NPI process with 'Design to Manufacturing' measures to develop a cost-optimized product over the entire product life cycle that can be quickly and seamlessly transferred to production and enables a fast market entry.

Responsibilities:

· Cross-departmental collaboration with development, production and quality management

· Planning and implementation of design reviews

· Selection and qualification of components

· Implementation of developments suitable for production

· Experience in leading a complex process which includes engineering, logistics and testability.

· Leading a complex project team in a matrix (QA, Engineering, Service, Production, Supply Chain, Planning).

Qualifications:

· University degree (BSc or MSc degree), preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable technical discipline

· Professional experience in the technical field in process planning, development or product support or in the PLM and/or NPI/SCM process

· Familiarity with hardware engineering and design process

· Familiarity with an operations work environment

· ERP experience – SAP is an advantage

· PLM experience

· Product plan managing – MS Project experience

· Ability to lead a complex process which includes engineering, logistics and testability.

· Good written and oral communication skills in German

· Good written communication skills in English

· Team worker
