Tasks:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure technical alignment and seamless data operations.
Provide technical guidance in data operations projects ensuring best practices, efficient architecture, and scalable solutions.
Engage in continuous deployment and automation initiatives.
Drive innovation and optimization of our data infrastructure.
Actively contribute, handson, to ongoing and upcoming coding projects, as well as showcasing expertise and setting coding standards.
Code review, mentorship, and driving a culture of technical excellence within the team.

Requirements:

Advanced Python proficiency, such as the ability to develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Proficient in SQL with handson experience in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Experience in database management and optimization.
Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Deep understanding of Docker and docker containers.
Familiarity with Python web frameworks, preferably Dash.
Experience with other nonPython web frameworks such as Angular is a plus.
Proficient understanding of version control using GitHub.
Handson experience with GitHub actions, particularly in the automation of deployments or using post merge/push workflows.
Experience using CI/CD tools, notably Jenkins and Airflow.
Knowledge of AWS services including RDS, S3, EC2, and Lambda.
Fluent in English (no German required).
Knowledge of Javascript is a plus.
First Leadership experience of small teams is a plus.
