Senior Legal Counsel - Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland - MAM Gruppe
Beschreibung
Tasks:
- Advising Expansion, Power Management, Design & Engineering, and Construction departments on legal aspects of permitting and regulatory requirements for the EMEA footprint (Germany, England, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, and South Africa), with assistance from external legal counsel as needed.
- Advising the Energy Management team on energy law/regulatory needs
- Negotiating and creating Power related agreements (i.e. PPA)
- Drafting and adjusting template agreements to uptodate legal standards as well as providing approval request forms and legal memos for the business (if required)
- Summarizing legal facts to serve as the foundation for commercial and legal decisions
- Conducting internal legal trainings
Requirements:
- A qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) or an EUequivalent is required.
- Proven postqualification experience (inhouse or at a legal firm) focusing on public law elements (especially planning law, energy law)
- High interest in Data Center sector and willing to acquire the relevant knowledge to serve as a true Legal Business Partner
- Experience in administrative law (building permits and ideally BImSchG proceedings) and dealing with large scale construction projects
- German and English business fluent. Spanish, Dutch, or another language would be ideal.
- Ability to manage large scale projects
- Enjoy presenting legal facts and issues to nonlegal colleagues as well as working on practical solutions
