Our Accounting Team is responsible for tracking, monitoring and safeguarding Soundwide's financial health, providing forward-looking financial guidance that empowers stakeholders to make informed decisions and enhancing the system and compliant processing landscape that ensures efficiency and sustainable growth.

We are advocates for our company culture and support executives and managers, allowing our company to develop and grow quickly yet in a sustainable and scalable fashion.

What You'll Do:

You will own the full set of general ledger responsibilities for the legal entity/entities and some common accounting processes across various group entities from book/record keeping, period closing, to producing commentaries as part of the financial statement / management report preparations.
You will monitor, analyze key financial statement positions and as part of the quality check procedures when needed, confidently explain positions, movements, etc.
You will not only follow the applicable accounting policies and internal processes but also contribute to the ongoing improvement/optimisation.
You will work closely with various stakeholders, support during audits and be involved in some existing accounting projects.
You will develop your skills steadily over time and take on more challenging areas and projects as you progress.

What You'll Need:

You are Degree qualified with relevant work experience gained from working at companies with overseas operations
You bring some previous experience in a similar role and can demonstrate your knowledge in an inhouse accounting environment
You have a solid working knowledge of general ledger topics, German GAAP (US GAAP or IFRS a plus).
You enjoy working and thrive in an international environment and are a confident communicator who is fluent in English. German language skills are a plus.
You are highly proficient in Microsoft/Google tools and major ERP systems.
You offer a track record of thriving in deadline centric environments and work well under pressure.
