Your tasks

The Global Tire Logistics - Warehousing & Distribution division at our location Hannover-Stöcken is in charge of the tactical and strategic design of global tire logistics.

Within this exciting work environment, we are offering a mandatory internship position starting at the earliest possible date to support us in our various projects and day-to-day business.

For the best learning experience possible, the internship should require a duration of - 6 months.

Your tasks include the following activities:

Support in the implementation of logístical quality requirements and various quality projects in the warehouse locations
Support by internal logistics audits according to ISO/TS 1694
Selection and evaluation of new technologies and innovations to optimize warehouse processes
Collaboration in continuous improvement projects of existing automation solutions in the warehouse area
Independent and autonomous preparation of global logistics reports and monthly KPIs

Profile:

Students (M/F/diverse) studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or similar
Ideally having a specialization in Logistics, Supply Chain or transportation
Ideally basic experience in logistics or in the technical field
Competent handling of MS Office-Programs (esp. Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
Analytical thinking and a good understanding of numbers
Dependent working style, high commitment, flexibility as well as creativity
Team, organizational, and communication skills
