Berlin we are currently looking to recruit a
Legal Counsel.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for all legal matters relating to bid activities and projects in execution. The scope of work furthermore comprises corporate affairs of entities in your cluster as well as other legal affairs and compliance matters.
You will work closely with other business functions, notably Contracts, Project

- and Bid-Management as well as Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Finance

Focus of this job is the provision of legal advice, the negotiation with third parties (including drafting of legal documents) and compliance with Alstom policies relating to legal aspects of the business

Your profile

Fully qualified German lawyer (Rechtsanwalt or Syndikusrechtsanwalt) with profound knowledge of contract law, gained by at least three years of relevant working experience as an inhouse legal counsel or with a private law firm
Additional knowledge and practical expertise in public procurement law, antitrust & competition law and/or commercial law is an asset
Excellent skills in German and English (spoken and written)
Strong negotiation, drafting, communication, analytical and strategic skills combined with business acumen
Team player and ability to quickly comprehend technical and commercial matters
