The Product Manager builds and maintains the product strategy and product roadmaps of Veridos and builds and maintains the technology roadmap in accordance with other Business Lines and the overall company strategy.

For our department "Product Management ID Documents" we are looking for a
Product Manager ID Documents (m/w/d)

- full-time at our location in Munich or Berlin

Main responsibilities:

Responsibility for product roadmap from ideation to implementation
Creation of the business case, definition of the business model, determination of the makeorbuy in coordination with the Head of Development, determination of the cost calculation and pricing
Maintain a product backlog for current and future product features and regularly coordinate with the RnD team
Coordinate with other product managers to ensure interoperability of the Veridos product portfolio
Responsibility for gotomarket strategy, definition of product/solution prices and market positioning
2nd level support during the tender phase for the product definition

Main tasks:

Management of products based on the product lifecycle management process and responsibility for the product roadmap
Definition of product requirements and characteristics including legal, qualitative, safety and commercial requirements.
Regular internal communication about the portfolio and roadmap as well as conducting product training.
Working out market trends and reflecting on them in your own product strategy
Keeping an eye on customer requirements and trends to keep products at the cutting edge of technology
Supporting marketing activities and contributing to or preparing related materials (videos, flyers, white papers, combat guides, etc.) to support sales activities

Profile:

Degree in printing technology or plastic technology, or similar training in these areas
Additional training in business administration is an advantage
Several years of experience in product management for complex, technical products consisting of hardware and software components
Indepth knowledge of ID documents and security features
Experience in the preparation of business plans
It is easy for you to build and maintain networks and relationships
Proficient in MS Office
Communicative skills (English and German)
