Job Description:

For our Mattel office in Frankfurt, Germany, we are looking for a full-time


Chief of Play (M/F/d)

The Team & The Opportunity:


As Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for the Facilities management of our Frankfurt office, act as support for the Managing Director as well as a key support for a great variety of projects hand in hand with the leadership team.

You will interact and engage closely with employees to identify any issues and provide valuable solutions.


What Your Impact Will Be:


_ Facilities & Managing Director Assistant (65%):_

  • Manage contract negotiations and act as company liaison with suppliers (e.g. office suppliers, company mobile phones, printers, cleaning company, company cars, repair, etc.)
  • Car Fleet Management
  • First point of contact for landlord and suppliers relating to the Frankfurt premises
  • Negotiate terms, conditions and rates for travel, hotels and travel agencies for the DACH markets
  • Support the managing director in the daytoday agenda (ensure diary is manageable, prioritize key topics, arrange business trips)
  • Planning, coordination, and organization of internal and external meetings
  • Coordinate and manage C-Suite and EMEA Leadership Team visits (including agenda, travel and transport, accommodation, restaurants, client visits, etc.)
  • Manage invoicing in a proactive and timely manner, ensuring suppliers are well informed
  • Supervise reception & outsourced cleaning teams, ensure tasks are performed, identify gaps and provide solutions
  • Participate and support the organization of the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg

_ Project Management, Coordination & Liaison (35%):_

  • You will be involved in strategic projects for DACH & eCommerce EMEA, including, amongst others: the Digital Transformation across the Region, business development, expansion of new distribution, identify and win with growing channels
  • Liaise with Leadership Team members to support Marketwide projects and initiatives (e.g. employee engagement action plan), keep project timelines on track
  • Deploy presentation materials for business plans, quarterly market reviews, functional EMEA reviews, DACH offsites and townhalls
  • Prepare analysis, consolidate executive summaries templates and craft executive briefing documents

Qualifications:

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills (DE/EN)
  • Effective and outgoing communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Act as internal consultant
  • Analytical; able to analyze data and provide insights
  • Confident working with and communicating with stakeholders at different levels of the organization
  • Able to find information, interpret requests and get things done with limited stepbystep instructions
  • Agility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs and request, with a flexible approach
  • Project management, organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and think outside the box
  • Empathic and caring team player
  • Able to manage confidential/sensitive topics and meetings

Experience:


  • University degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or any other related field (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma)
- +2 years' work experience, either through an Industry Work Placement or postgraduate experience within Business Analysis, Consulting or a Business Strategy/ Insights based role

  • Experience within toys or FMCG would be beneficial
