Beschreibung

We are looking for an experienced sortier to join our fast-paced manufacturing team.

The sortier is responsible for sorting, categorizing and organizing materials according to predetermined criteria of size, type, grade and shape in a manufacturing setting.

You will be expected to evaluate materials for quality and currency of the components in order to take necessary action if needed.

• Responsibilities:_

Sort materials according to pre-defined criteria such as size, type and grade.

Examine components thoroughly for defects or damage such as cracks, chips, breaks and other blemishes.

Operate machinery safely and accurately at all times in compliance with safety rules.

Maintain clean working area by picking up scattered items and cleaning up after sorting operations.

Detect discrepancies during sorting process through visual inspection of items and take them out of the line if needed.

Ensure accurate registration of finished items for accountability purposes.

Work closely with staff in other departments such as Purchasing and Distribution to resolve any problems or issues which may arise during the sorting process.
