A Snapshot of Your Day
Forecast the impact of design decisions and concepts on product costs - from parts and components to plants.

Together with development teams, they create cost transparency at an early stage and use their network to find the optimal solution for tomorrow's electrolysers in interdisciplinary collaboration.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Crossdepartmental design decisions, monitoring of the development project through to implementation and support in achieving target costs, e.g. through bottomup cost models and analyses of scenarios, risks or deviations
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration in the development projects, DtC measures, benchmarks, target costing and business case analyses in the field of water electrolysis
  • Creation of cost analyses and models and establishment of transparency in close cooperation with development, purchasing and manufacturing with regard to current and expected product costs
  • Presentation of cost saving potentials, participation in design changes, identification of potential risks and prioritization of cost saving potentials

What You Bring

  • Successfully completed degree in industrial engineering, field of process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace, electrical engineering or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in product development and/or technical project or product management desirable
  • Experience in interdisciplinary cooperation, especially between development, purchasing and manufacturing
  • Experience in cost modeling and optimization accompanying development is desirable as well as in designtocost (DtC) projects
  • Excellent communication skills, including working with remote teams
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to react quickly to changing constraints
  • Fluent English and German
