Your Tasks

Research tasks (100%):
characterization of CNMs by materials analysis: Electron Microscopy, Helium Ion Microscopy (HIM), X-ray Photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Infrared spectroscopy (IR), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) and others
- detection of gas and liquid permeation through CNMs
- evaluation, documentation and presentation of research results
- communication in an interdisciplinary and international collaboration
- preparation of new research proposals

Employment is conducive to scientific qualification.- Your Profile
We expect
- profound knowledge in materials characterization
- practical experience in surface analytics (XPS, IR, or other)
- practical experience in high-resolution microscopy (SEM, STM/AFM)
- independent, self-reliant working style
- high communication and cooperation skills
- very good knowledge of English language (oral and written)

Preferred experience and skills

- practical experience in membrane research
- practical experience in electrochemistry
- experience in material transport and materials separation with membranes
- experience in charge transport through membranes
- nanofabrication on 2D materials
