JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

Act as regional leader for assigned functional process for the Europe SAP S/4 Retail implementation (Release 3 "R3.0").

This person will be the expert on European business processes and Solar capabilities for all program activities related to the Procure to Pay track for Europe.

The need is to hear and understand business requirements and to understand Solar global functionalities.

The RPO can then act on behalf of both Business and Solar teams to ensure that business requirements are met by Solar even though Solar additional capabilities must be added or business processes may require change to mesh with global ways of working through Solar.

This means being ultimately accountable and ensuring the success, integration and partnership between the Global Solar organization and the Europe market.

Strong business and process knowledge, the ability to identify potential roadblocks and inform and influence stakeholders at all levels.


ABOUT THE JOB:

DISCOVERY PHASE

  • Lead Onboarding and Ramp up of Regional/Local SOLAR Team
  • Identify Part Time Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Region/Cluster
  • Lead or Attend Discovery Sessions to Determine Initial R3.0 Scope
  • Update the Business Process Hierarchy (BPH) as needed for R3 Europe
  • Review and confirm the R3.0 Pre-Quad A (Adopt, Add, Adjust, or Abstain aka "fit/gap" assessment), Localization, and Customization Assessments
  • Ensure the R3.0 Explore Workshop Schedule is complete as to requirements, resources, and timing
  • Review Inputs for Initial Waves of Explore Workshops

EXPLORE PHASE

  • Lead Explore Workshops & Drive Scope/Requirement Decisions
  • Own Completion of Workshop Outputs
  • Capture and Present Key Decision Documents (KDDs) to SOLAR Core Leads & Relevant Parties
  • Define Business Process Documents and update Process Flows in BlueWorks Live Tool
  • Drive acceptance of global Solar business process designs and solution gaps by Market/Cluster Leads
  • Deliver Localization Workshops
  • Engage Cluster Stakeholders to Provide Solution Updates & Receive Signoff
  • Confirm identification and articulation of change requests and raise WRICEF objects for approval through the change control process

REALIZE PHASE

  • Review select functional specification outputs to ensure they meet business requirements
  • Develop and deliver solution design presentations to stakeholders
  • Assist in the review of training material
  • Assist in driving the execution of testing, including identification of testing scenarios, who to involve in testing, and managing test defect resolution
  • Support data conversion activities (strategy, data cleansing, validation, etc.)

CUTOVER PHASE

  • Drive review and update of cutover tasks to meet European phase requirements with business teams
  • Coordinate cutover rehearsal tasks where business team action is needed
  • Provide first line of support during implementation stabilization period, including triage and assignment of tickets to relevant team members and IT.

KEY FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Understand supply chain processes beginning with resource and materials planning and continuing through to distribution center receipt
  • Familiarity with supply planning tools such as APO, boardwalk and O
  • Conversant with Infor Nexus modules where vendor packing, shipment visibility and vendor invoicing/payment activities occur
  • Comfortable with vendor facing teams such as Supply Sourcing Management and Purchase Order Department as well as customer focused Supply Planning and Inventory Management teams
  • Comfortable with Business Object and Tableau reporting tools
  • Familiar with crossfunctional activities in FICO, DTC and OTC and cognizant of PTP impacts to the crossfunctions

ABOUT YOU:

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • SAP experience optimal but not required
  • Experience with direct and indirect management of team members and ability to manage expectations of critical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to facilitate workshops to obtain desired outputs, identify roadblocks, complexities, and critical business implications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability track/communicate activities across areas of expertise in a clear and consistent manner
  • Ability to succinctly describe changes from current to future state and knowing what impacts needs to shared and socialized with different stakeholders
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders quickly and effectively
