Bavarian Nordic is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to give our customers the best-in-class service, as the front-line support, answering basic commercial questions related to prices, product availability, promotions, etc.

by phone and mail.


Boost our team as Customer Service Coordinator (f/m/d)


You will become part of our Customer Service, Shipping & Distribution (CSS&D) team within Bavarian Nordic's Supply Chain Management (SCM) department.

CSS&D currently consists of 14 employees located in Denmark, Switzerland, and US. We support each other in our daily work while serving our customers world-wide as 'one team, one goal'.


The work will bring you in close daily collaboration with Commercial on various tasks, but you will also be working close with other internal departments such as Planning, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs.

You will report to the Snr. Manager CSS&D located in Denmark.

This is how your work matters:

  • Handle stockout situations, damages, complaints and returns in corporation with internal departments
  • Ensure correct Bavarian Nordic Customer data at our fourthparty logistics (4PL) (creation & maintenance) in cooperation with internal departments
  • Handle "not order related" inquiries from/to 4PL/ Customers (financial inquiries, stock requests, product info, quality inquiries, documentation inquiries, etc.)
  • Customer data management & case creation in CRM
  • Ensure processes & flows are updated and maintained according to SOPs and agreements with service providers
  • Follow up on department KPIs and present at internal meetings
Succeeding with our vision of becoming one of the largest pure play vaccine companies in the world is no walk in the park, and that is why we need people like you who are determined to make it happen and have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in customer service
  • Experience from a pharma company will be an advantage
  • Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Dynamics CRM will be an advantage
  • Able to learn and retain commercial information and processes
  • Ability to make decisions in line with current policies, procedures, and information
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German, French or Italian nice to have
  • GDP/GMP knowledge will be an advantage
  • As a person you are flexible, structured, able to multitask and able to remain calm and professional, even under pressure.
