In order to support our team in Langenhagen Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a


Supply Chain Coordinator in Material Operations:


(d/f/m):


The position is an integrated part of the Airbus Military Germany Customer Services organization within the German Material Support On-Site team.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Langenhagen is located in the immediate vicinity of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony and the Steinhuder Meer can be reached within a short time.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Enchargement for all supply chain flows
  • Coordinate all topics related to material and logistics data flows and ensure smooth running of the material and logistics data flows
  • Process creation, definition, implementation and continuous reviewing
  • Continuous adaptation on processes, Stakeholder coordination and management
  • Export control allowances coordination and improvement
  • Acting as Focal Point related to material management for the customer on different maintenance activities around the world
  • Report back the material and logistics data related errors to the relevant Centre of Competence for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring smooth communication with the Demand Operations Manager and his/her team and substitution of the Material Operations Manager during his/her absence

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • University degree or long term practical experience in a relevant area
  • Professional experience on Material Support, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Process oriented with high interest in continuous improvement and practical solutions, very high attention to details and rigor guaranteeing the service performance and avoiding nonqualities
  • Customer relationship management skills in particular at managing expectations and delivery
  • Experience of German Air Force / German Army Aviation processes, projects and regulations desirable
  • English and German language skills on negotiation level
  • Additional language communication skills (French, Spanish, etc.) would be a plus
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
