You have successfully completed your master's degree or PhD and now you want to kickstart your career - preferably in an international environment.

During our management trainee program, you will quickly assume responsibility for your tasks in the KION New Energy Systems team with a focus on Connected Energy Solutions.

From the outset, you will be an important part of the KION Group and a member of a collaborative team striving for excellence.

You will quickly get to know all the important interfaces that ensure
crossfunctional collaboration based on partnership and trust
The global orientation of the program is complemented by a 5month assignment at one of our
international locations
From the start, we will assign you tasks for which you will have
individual responsibility , giving you the opportunity to contribute your
own ideas
Your
mentor , one of our KION executives, will support you along your journey and will drive your
personal development

Tasks and Qualifications:

Tasks

You will work intensively on the
development of
communication between energy systems (liIon batteries, fuel cells, chargers),
energy infrastructure and
forklift trucks as well as the correspondent
cloud infrastructure to enable
new customer features, business models or feedback out of customer use cases (big data, data analytics)
You will rotate through positions in
different departments with
focus on the wide field of connected energy
You will also interact with R&D, digitalization, IT, Product Management and Sales & Service, which are important
stakeholders for our energy solutions
Your knowledge of energy systems will also see you
working closely together
with the other development departments of the KION Group around the world. This will include topics such as
digitalization (IOT, cloud computing, data analytics,...), and
automation (AGV—Automated Guided Vehicles, AMR—Automated Mobile Robot Platforms,...), and the Warehouse Management/Supply Chain Solutions departments
Another area of focus for your work will be the comprehensive topic of
sustainability

Qualifications

You have a
master's degree or PhD in
Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or Computer Science and are now keen to get practical experience
You have
professional working proficiency in English enabling you to communicate with stakeholders and our global development teams; German language skills are needed as well
You have already acquired
international experience and are excited by the prospect of a placement abroad for several months as part of the trainee program
You have
strong IT skills —you particularly use
MS Office daily, and have knowledge of relevant
development tools
You are a
team player with strong communication skills, are keen to
take on responsibility and to work with a high level of
initiative to achieve results you can be proud of
