Internship - Mechanisms and Robotics - Engine test setup (M/F/d)

Your Tasks

Setup of a permanent motor test stand for various types of actuators commonly used in space mechanisms

Conceptual and Functional design

Selection and procurement of commercial components (actuator drivers, sensors, brakes)
Implementation of existing measurement equipment (e.g., torque sensors)
Programming a common control GUI
Conduction of tests to provide input for correlation with existing actuator performance models
Preparation of Documentation
Maintaining and equipping a laboratory intended for integration and test of mechanisms and breadboard models
Support of the Mechanisms & Robotics team

Your Qualifications

Currently enrolled in engineering studies, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar
Apprenticeship as precision mechanic, industrial mechanic, electronics technician, or similar is a plus but not mandatory
Basic knowledge in API programming
Ability to understand, characterize, and size electromechanical systems
Good English skills, both written and spoken
Knowledge of MS Office tools
