About your team

Our German Wholesale team is covering a broad range of distributors, banks, insurers, IFAs, asset managers and family offices. With more than 30 years in Germany, Fidelity is one of the key players in the German Wholesale Market.

The Senior Associate Central Sales is part of the Central Sales team and has a strong focus on the distribution business (=Fund Seller Business).

About your role


As an integral member of the German Wholesale team, the Senior Associate Central Sales works in partnership with the sales team.

The Senior Associate Central Sales is part of the Central Sales team and has a strong focus on the distribution business (=Fund Seller Business).


The Senior Associate Central Sales is working closely together with the key account managers and is responsible for supporting wholesale/retail clients' requests and services offered to our German professional clients as well as participating in client-related projects like key client business development and addressing new product capabilities to the clients.

The Senior Associate Central Sales also supports the regional sales managers to cover client requests and develop relationships.

The role includes preparing, executing and following up on client queries, sales meetings and client events.

It includes taking care of client reporting, but also maintaining and keeping our global CRM system (SalesForce) up to date.

The person will liaise effectively with the operational Marketing team for our internet and on-line marketing strategy as well as for our product presentation updates.


The Senior Associate Central Sales takes on an integral and operational role in collaborating with product positioning, market and competitor intelligence, being the link to the centrally based competitors and fund analysis specialists' teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support of Key Clients and regional sales managers:

Work closely together with the key account managers and regional sales managers to provide excellent service and thought leadership ideas to our most relevant clients.

Support in
- further developing the execution management in the regions
- updating and further developing relevant sales material for focus themes
- working out strategic themes and new business areas for our businesses
- ... handling client inquiries with high service excellence

  • Wholesale / Fund Seller sales support:
Provide support for distribution/fund seller clients: Responding to client requests, preparing information and data, preparing meeting material (esp. ppt presentations), pitch documents and specific fund presentations including data compliance administration

  • Sales Reporting, client reporting and data provision:
Prepare and circulate regulatory important sales reportings to key clients. Prepare and distribute regular and one off fund and market reports. Influence developments on how to improve online reporting and web as an integrated part of the role.

  • Client database / Client Surveys:
Managing data consistency for internal sales reporting requirements, including preparing reports. Support client satisfaction surveys by selecting relevant clients, checking the participation and liasing with sales in order to meet client service targets

  • Competitor analysis:


Function as local link into central representatives, to brief in fund analysis initiatives with appropriate central teams, ensuring ongoing information flow from central team to local market in terms of competitor and market intelligence.

Through tools locally available (Morningstar Direct), support preparation and positioning of specific product initiatives with German wholesale/institutional clients.

  • Event support:
Participate in selected client events, eg. support in invitating clients, preparing presentations and servicing clients during the event

About you

You will be able to make decisions based on your numerical and analytical skills as well as to communicate your findings.
