We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior System Specialist in the field of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in Erlangen, Germany.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for
supporting our customer service departments and ensuring the smooth operation of our European distribution/ manufacturing centers.

Collaboration with internal teams, such as IT Global and EMEA colleagues, as well as external stakeholders like Infor or Siemens CT, will be an integral part of this role.

What you will do:

Resolve issues faced by manufacturing users in the EMEA region promptly and effectively
-
Implement business requirements while ensuring alignment with process governance, legal requirements, and regional/country policies
-
Develop and support Manufacturing Execution Systems (
3 Shape and OPcenter (former Camstar)) to optimize operational efficiency

Collaborate with customer service administrators to address technical challenges and provide timely solutions

Integrate databases, servers, and networks to enhance system performance and connectivity

Utilize middleware integration tools to streamline data flow between systems.
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and perform daily integrations with ERP systems
Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and advancements in Manufacturing Execution Systems

What you bring

Your Experience:

Previous experience developing and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems is required
Experience with good knowledge in integration processes with ERP system

Your personal competencies:

Proficiency in database management, SQL, and network integration is essential
Good problemsolving and analytical skills
High communication and collaboration abilities
Advanced English skills
ITIL Certification and familiarity with 3D Modelling tools are a plus
