YOUR NEW ROLE

In your role as a Project Lead Predevelopment at Siemens, you will contribute towards developing and enhancing our automation product portfolio, with an emphasis on new and unconventional solutions in the field of IT/OT Convergence, Industry 4.0 and IoT.

You will be an integral part of an innovative team that identifies, nurtures and matures technology-driven projects.

A significant part of your work will be leading projects to create ideas, evaluate customer impact, develop technological concepts and prototypes in close and continuous cooperation with customers and internal stakeholders.

You lead innovative projects from idea to pilot implementations with the aim of enhancing our automation product portfolio.
You analyze and understand real customer problems in the field of IT/OT convergence, Industry 4.0 and IoT and find new and unconventional solutions.
Stakeholder management and budget planning for your individual project is also part of your daily work
You are staying up to date with relevant cuttingedge research and assessment of their benefits
You inspire your colleagues, so they grow beyond themselves and achieve great results
You are thinking outside the box and understanding that innovative projects can take unforeseeable turns
You will network extensively and interact with customers on a regular basis.
With your understanding of technology and business impact, you will translate customer needs to scalable solution designs.

THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING

You have a successfully completed master's degree in computer science, information technology, automation technologies or equivalent education in a technical field
You have experience in research or software development.
You have many years experience in project management.
You have knowhow in Industry 4.0 relevant technologies (like virtualization, container technologies, IT architectures, Systems Engineering or semantic data modeling)
You have proven ability and methodology for systematic preparation of decisions for complex scenarios.
You have the willingness to learn every day and curiosity to see how new technologies can make an impact in industry business.
