Sr. Hosting Administrator (m/w/d)

Verantwortlichkeiten & Qualifikationen:

What awaits you:

You person will be accountable for delivering hosting infrastructure environments capable of supporting Novelis' manufacturing and business initiatives
You will work to implement and maintain Hosting and Automation Infrastructure in Novelis Europe, communicate the technical infrastructure roadmap and provide guidance to our managed services partner.
You will be responsible for the ongoing hosting services delivery in the region, engaging with delivery partners, escalate issues as necessary and promote partnership and stability for IT services in the region
You will also provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and implementation strategies to better support the business and its initiatives.
You are accountable for delivering robust infrastructure environments built to be highly available, expandable, and secure
You will also partner with relevant statekholders in the region to develop project requirements, timelines, issue/incident management, and support escalations
Serve as the Hosting Infrastructure point of contact in region for global initiatives such as software and hardware refreshes, tool rollouts, security initiatives, etc. to ensure region compliance with standards and policies
Serve as the Hosting Infrastructure lead assisting the Global Security team with initiatives such as product rollouts, vulnerability management, compliance tracking, etc.
Consult with IT and business customers on innovative technology
As needed to assist in proactively developing requirements, evaluating solution effectiveness, as well as participation in major incident management/business interruption issues as they arise

How you convince us:

Bachelor's Degree in MIS or related field of study
10+ years of IT experience with designing, implementing, and managing Data Centers
10+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows systems
5yrs experience in a global organization Manufacturing organization experience preferred
Experience with central and remote infrastructure clusters (VMware)
Able to design and implement highly available hosting infrastructure solutions
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proficient with scripting and Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, Terraform, etc.)
Familiar with Kubernetes and Docker
Working knowledge of AD, DNS, networking
Must be able to manage time and priorities in a fastpaced environment
Understands compliance regulations and security practices
Experience working with/directing outsource/contract labor
Experience in a global organization
Demonstrated history of triaging complex problems in mission critical situations
