  • Our CRE (Corporate Real Estate) division is responsible for all ASML buildings, infrastructures and facilities throughout their service lives. It plays a crucial role in the change and development processes that will take us into completely new dimensions. CRE not only manages our significant facility expansion, it also ensures top performance of our critical systems.

Your tasks: It is essential that we maintain our security processes and all security operations in our Berlin facilities at a consistently high level in order to continue ASML's growth in Germany. The Local Physical Security Operations team strengthens ASML's resilience to internal and external physical threats in order to protect people, property and knowledge.

  • Effective and efficient governance as well as optimized and professional management structures are implemented operationally and they are supported by clear guidelines, procedures and programs as part of our corporate real estate strategy.
  • Within our German CRE team you will be responsible for daytoday physical security operations, active defense and risk management that will enable ASML to realize its business targets in a secure environment. You will work closely with the Physical Security Operations Manager and Manager FM Soft Services and Security ensure daily security operations
  • Following the defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to drive physical security improvements
  • Participating in Physical Security related projects
  • Supporting security awareness measures for physical security operations
  • Taking appropriate action to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks in a complex and constantly evolving manufacturing and hightech environment
  • Managing the security guards
  • Managing the daytoday operations in the physical security control room
  • Supporting the training and development programs for our security personnel in Germany
  • Supporting operational access management
  • Participating in coordinating and implementing events
  • Running internal investigations of all physical security incidents as well as implementing followups and evaluations
  • Carrying out and evaluating physical security assessments

Your qualifications:


  • Completed bachelor's/master's degree in security and risk prevention, a comparable qualification or relevant training combined with extended work experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a security manager in an international hightech industrial environment
  • Relevant certification, i.e. being a Certified Protection Professional (CPP ASIS) will be an advantage
  • Expertise at operational and tactical levels
  • Fluent in both spoken and written business English and German
