  • Your Tasks
  • The research tasks essentially comprise:
  • collaboration in the sub-project "RegioHealth" led by Prof. Dr. Odile Sauzet
- collaboration with Dr. Theresa Etringer at the SOEP
- research work based on empirical analyses of the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) and linked regional data or other relevant international panel data
- participation in the Graduate Training Programme of the ScienceCampus
- collaboration with other researchers at the ScienceCampus

  • Your Profile
We expect
- completed university degree in the field of sociology, geography, health sciences, psychology, economics, business mathematics, data science or statistics (e. g. Master or Diploma)
- confident handling of data analysis methods and software (Stata or R)
- sound knowledge of analysing quantitative survey data
- very good written and spoken English skills
- independent, autonomous and committed way of working
- strong organisational and coordination skills
- cooperative and team-orientated way of working

  • Preferred experience and skills
- experience with social-epidemiological topics, especially health inequalities
- experience in analysing longitudinal data
- experience in analysing geographical/spatial data
- interest and ability to contribute to peer-reviewed scientific articles
- interest in transferring research results to the public
