We are currently looking for a highly motivated Marketing Programs Intern (M/F/D) to join our Marketing team in Munich.

Principle duties and essential functions

The Marketing Programs Intern is responsible to support the organization of tradeshows, conferences and self-created customer events in all regions.

Other tasks and responsibilities- Support in planning, organization, and coordination of public/industry and ADVA own virtual, hybrid and in person events- Assistance in event logistics and coordination of the shipping and receiving of event related items in highly time-sensitive and deadline driven situations- Support events onsite as needed and running of ADVA virtual events- Occasional correspondence with external exhibit houses to organize event orders- Provide support in planning ADVA own events including website design, registration, communications, post-event surveys, etc.

- Assistance in researching yearly calendar of events and updating event specific details on the shared server site- Assistance in marketing campaigns and leading distribution in Salesforce- Maintenance of event related expenses while being budget-conscious- Occasional research and presentation on assigned topics from the Senior Global Marketing Programs Manager- Support of the global marketing team, sales team and business development team in marketing and live communication related requests- Support of the communications team in developing social media updates for event-related topics

Knowledge, skills and experience required- Undergraduate degree in business related field or in the process of completing a bachelor's degree in a business field- Basic knowledge of B2B marketing and marketing communication- Good project management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong written and spoken English and German language, other additional language(s) a plus- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team- Highly organized and able to multi-task under time constraints- Advanced knowledge of MS Office- Sensitivity to work in a multi-cultural environment- National and international travel required occasionally
