In the Faculty IV:
School of Science and Technology, Department Physik TP1, we are looking for a researcher as of the at the following conditions:

  • 75% = 29,87 hours
  • Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited bis


Your tasks:


  • Support in research and teaching, supervision of students as well as participation in administrative tasks
  • Research activities in the fields of theoretical particle physics and the CRC TRR25
  • Investigation in the field of the theory and phenomenology of b quark decays: effective field theories, QCD factorization, hadronic matrix elements (form factors, light cone distribution amplitudes,...), rare decays.
  • Teaching commitment: 3 h/week

Your profile:


  • Very good university degree (MSc or comparable) in physics
  • Solid knowledge of the phenomenology of elementary particles and the Standard Model of particle physics
  • Very good knowledge of English
