Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in Europe, and malignant melanoma in particular causes the highest number of skin cancer-attributable deaths.


Job description:


  • In this capacity, we are looking for a motivated bioinformatician to join our efforts of improving early detection of skin cancer by addressing technically challenges scientifically, but also develop skills and take part in risk / usability management, which are core skills needed to bring data science to patients. Requirements:


  • Masters' degree in data science, bioinformatics or related fields
  • Strong motivation for cancer research
  • Strong interest in life sciences / working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Selfdependent work ethic
  • Fluency in English (some German would be great, but is not required)
