Your Responsibilities

Welcome to the exciting world of maritime management as a Deck & Safety Superintendent In this pivotal role, you will command the continuous orchestration of deck and safety operations, ensuring ships are optimally maintained and upgraded.

With a keen eye on budgeting and spare parts management, you will guarantee cost-effective solutions while standing ready to lead audits.

Join us in shaping the future of maritime fleet technical operations as we navigate the open waters of excellence together

Ensure the correct planning and timely execution of all deck & safety operations pertaining to the daily activities, maintenance, improvements and technical modifications for the assigned ships
Manage and is responsible for the vessels deck and safety budgets, including related spare parts and services management
Prepare and support for audits and inspections and also participate in onboard audits
Follow up on findings in liaison and guidance with Cruise Governance/ Audit Management and documentation of findings in the Global HESS-MS platform
Participate in regular HESS/ Safety meetings together with HESS SI Environment, HESS SI USPH, Nautical & Safety SI under guidance of the Head of Safety and/or DPA

Your Profile

Bachelor ́s degree or equivalent and minimum 3 years of professional experience in shipboard operations and preferably in the maritime sector
IMO license is mandatory
Leadership experience as Staff Captain or Safety Officer is desirable
Safety driven and having a cooperative attitude
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Very good command of the English language (English is our Company's official language)
