At the Schkopau site, we operate two synthetic rubber production plants, a pilot plant, an operations laboratory, and a research laboratory.

We are looking for an employee as
Tire Application Development Specialist, R&D (M/F/d) for our Compound & Tire Application Development Department at the
Schkopau site as soon as possible.

02 Your Tasks:

Competent technical consulting and support of customers in the tire and technical rubber goods industry worldwide in close cooperation with the sales department
Development of solutions for technical customer and market requirements in close coordination with other R&D groups
Development of new project ideas to expand and add value to the product portfolio
Material science consulting and complex problem solving
Documentation, communication and presentation of measurement data, test results and corresponding conclusions
Presentation of results at conferences and supervision of cooperation projects

03 Your Profile:

Successfully completed college or university degree in chemistry, physics, plastics technology, materials technology or a comparable engineering science (including industrial engineering) or natural science; doctorate advantageous
Several years of professional experience in rubber technology or rubber/plastics industry; theoretical as well as practical knowledge of processing and testing methods of elastomeric materials, especially rubber/rubber, and evaluation of results
Proficient user knowledge of the MS Office package, knowledge of other data analysis software (e.g. JMP) is an advantage
Readytouse knowledge of statistical design of experiments
Good German and very good written and spoken English, Polish language skills are advantageous
Innovative, forwardlooking and confident action
Structured, systematic as well as independent and solutionoriented scientific approach
Scientific curiosity, creativity, passion and initiative
Very good expression and communication skills
Very good presentation skills
Very good time management and selforganization
Ability to work in a team, initiative
