Tasks:

Analyses and modelling of international webstores and marketplaces (e.g. deduction and estimation of relevant financial data from annual reports and financial statements)
Conducting research on companies in the eCommerce sector
Systematic data collection of characteristics of online stores (e.g. payment and delivery methods, contact data, product categories)
Open desk research and preparation of relevant key figures for our database
Help to develop new tools and methods in our working process

Requirements:

Independent and diligent work with a high degree of reliability
Basic understanding of eCommerce and general economic contexts
Familiarity with annual reports, balance sheets and financial terms is a plus
Fluent in English, German language skills are an advantage
Practical MS Excel experience is a plus
Availability (with flexible working hours) to work 1520 hours/week
Ideally: Located in Hamburg
