Discover your exciting role:

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for globally documenting the Exyte Enterprise Architecture Landscape, designing the Target Architecture Landscape, and creating the Migration Plan including the identification, design of relevant transition architectures. The Enterprise Architect is also responsible for ensuring the completeness (fitnessforpurpose) of the architecture, in terms of adequately addressing all the pertinent concerns of its stakeholders. He is responsible for the integrity of the architecture, in terms of connecting all the various views to each other, satisfactorily reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders, and showing the tradeoffs made in doing so.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities:

Ensure IT delivering business value and driving business outcomes
Document the Enterprise architecture models to reflect the current architecture landscape
Work in a Matrix Organization with Business Owners, Application Owners, Technology Owners and Domain and communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements
Facilitate business conversations and moderate the definition of design principles in order to govern the incoming demands
Assess demands from different stakeholders on architectural fit
Evaluate and link business strategic, tactical and operational demand with IT capacity
Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements
Collaborate with a diverse workforce within a matrix environment and communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements
Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to the architecture community and stakeholders

Show your expertise:

Master's degree in computer science, informationtechnology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
Certification in TOGAF 10+ years of experience in architecture development
Experience as an enterprise architect and in the introduction of enterprise architecture management
Handson experience of EAM tools
Track record in successful architecture and design
Experience in the definition and introduction of EA governance including the necessary change management
Experience in the preparation and presentation of documents for all stakeholders on all levels
Experience in the facilitation and moderation of workshops and facilitation between different departments and stakeholders with different requirements
Strong communication skills on all levels, ability to multitask, and thrive in a fastpaced environment
Adept at interfacing with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy; Skilled at influencing, guiding and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making.
Be capable of enjoying the work and keeping a positive attitude in a challenging environment
Deep understanding of both worlds, Exyte Architecture Landscape, supporting Exyte's business and Landscape for IT supporting the Exyte Architecture Landscape (IT4IT)
Knowledgeable and productive in the Enterprise Architecture Management work environment
Demonstrable proficiency with Enterprise Architecture Management Software; Knowledge of different modeling languages
Organizationally savvy, with the ability to navigate organizational politics.
Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and IT leaders and IT development teams.
