Could you be the full-time
Senior Buyer in Mannheim we're looking for?


Your future role
You'll make sure purchases align with our requirements, always meeting our expectations, specifications and objectives.

Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (particularly the procurement and supply chain/project core teams), choosing suppliers, managing relationships, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of
relationships with our global suppliers, and support the deployment of our commodities strategy.


We'll look to you for:

  • Prepare and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Making sure QCDT objects are met
  • Updating and maintaining quotation data in SAP
  • Consolidate the commodity needs, inputs
  • Coordinating all relevant activity with engineering, operations, procurement, finance etc.

  • Degree gained in engineering or from business school
  • 35 years Experience/understanding of buying and costing
  • Knowledge of Systems and SAP
  • Commodity sourcing and supplier management skills
  • Experience with external parties (suppliers or customers)
  • Proactive approach and financial flair
  • Exceptional relationship management
  • Confidence in persuasion and negotiation.
  • Fluent in English and German
