Information Security Analyst Advisor

Our work depends on Information Security Analyst Advisor joining our team to provide Government support in solving all phases of complex INFOSEC - related technical problems.

HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction

Analyzes and defines security requirements.

Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions computer security requirements.


Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and existing security products, and ongoing programs in the computer security arena.

Performs risk analyses which also includes risk assessment.

Provide Government support in solving all phases of complex INFOSEC - related technical problems.

Reviews and recommends INFOSEC solutions to the Government's problems based on an understanding of products/systems test results.


Conducts systems security analysis and implementation, system engineering, electrical design, design assurance, testing, software engineering, program design, configuration management, integration, and testing of INFOSEC products and techniques.

Provides solutions to the Government based on a firm understanding of Government/industry policy, practices, procedures, and Government requirements.

paying particular attention to Guard, Firewall, Secure Network Server, Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) format security solutions, "Smart Cards", emerging security technologies, and future trends in support of information system and network security.

Insures that INFOSEC solutions are fully compatible with or engineered into the Government's network design.


Develops and recommends technical solutions to the Government to support Government requirements in solving moderately complex network, platform, and system security problems.

Specifically, Contractor shall provide analytical and engineering solutions services based on federal and industry INFOSEC policy, doctrine, and regulations.


Responsible for identity management, secure system engineering and development, biometrics, system/security requirements analysis, secure system definition, specification development of INFOSEC policies, and procedures utilizing technical and analytical skills.

Designs test beds for the Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) of advanced INFOSEC hardware and software solutions.


Provides security oversight to data and video communications systems in an IT client/server environment, such as firewalls, modems, bridge, routers, gateways, and communication servers, within the organization.


  • Provides security oversight to Network and Systems operations, including all communications equipment in large scale or multishift operations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree A Bachelor's degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics or business/finance.

Certifications:


  • DoDD IAM-III (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.)
  • Appropriate computing environment certifications.
TESA eligibility/certification required

  • Required Experience: This position requires a minimum of 12years of experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized

Specialized experience includes:
Computer Security Systems, Information Security (INFOSEC) Systems, and Information Assurance (IA). General experience includes operations experience on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network

  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
