Beschreibung

Duties:


  • You will create and maintain material receipt records as requested by Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in accordance with NAVWAR Business Rules and DOD best practices.
  • You will create material shipment using standard documentation (e.g., DOD DD 1348, DD 1149) and commercial bill of laden documents as requested by stakeholders in accordance with NAVWAR Business Rules.
  • You will maintain a 100 percent inventory accuracy by performing material inspections and audits in accordance with authoritative guidance and best practices.
  • You will perform NAVWAR processes of material procurement both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • You will develop/implement unique Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for material management/storage across NIWC offices in Stuttgart Germany, Manama Bahrain, and Naples Italy.
  • You will maintain databases of logisticsrelated data in Bayside Support Tracking and Reporting System (BSTARS) to enable retrieval of accurate reports.

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Males born after must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
  • May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
  • You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current NIWC Atlantic COR certification.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate experience performing the following duties: 1. Performing acquisition logistics supply chain requirements to support an agency's Defense Acquisition program. 2. Analyzing logistics data to summarize and present findings and recommendations. 3. Handling hazardous materials and Radio Frequency Identification media to support a Defense Acquisition Program. 4. Working with virtual team members to build cooperation across a geographically dispersed multidisciplined organization.

Tour of duty will be 36 Months.
