About the Role


The Director of Strategy will lead the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) organization and the DTS leadership team through a comprehensive 5-year planning process that drives greater than market rate of growth.

The Director of strategy will challenge the organization on current business initiatives and provide the outside view of internal capabilities vs.

market reality. They will drive strategic partnerships in close collaboration with the DTS leadership team (e.g. with hyperscalers), support the organization in developing ahead-of-the market business models, Go-2-Market approaches, product-/service-/IP-strategies and advice in global footprint evolution.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, but access to project-related virtual teams.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with SVP, Corporate Strategy and M&A and the Leadership team of the DTS business unit
  • Drive the annual DTS Strategy process
  • Lead the (crossdivisional) business build and strategic partnership negotiations with hyper scalers / cloud companies
  • Develop a comprehensive market/competitor intelligence related to DTS business (macroeconomic, regional, multisegment)
  • Analyze and drive strategic partnerships, notably with hyperscalers and cocreation customers
  • Support strategic and financial assessment of makeorbuy decisions
  • Lead and manage specific innovation Goals & Objectives (G&O) projects with crossfunctional teams
  • Challenge and assist in the creation of business plans in collaboration with Finance, including financial modeling to support strategic initiatives and decisionmakingprocess
What You Need

  • Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration
  • 12+ years of total experience with 3+ years in strategy consulting
  • Experience with Services (IT and/or Engineering)
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to perform advanced calculations, compile data and prepare charts and reports
  • Expert presentation skills to effectively deliver complex datadriven insights to senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and effective relationships across technical and business teams globally (internal and external)
  • Ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and businesses quickly and to produce highquality work in short time frames
  • Ability to use common sense working in high integrity, high standard, professional, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
What is Nice to Have

  • Broad experience in several B2B domains (Telecom, Industrial and or Healthcare)
  • Deep understanding of new technologies, i.e. cloud, AI/ML, nextgen SW
  • Experience in partnership management with big tech companies (e.g. Google, Microsoft, AWS)
  • High proficiency in financial modeling and executive presentations
  • Fluent in German
