Our company is seeking a Technical Expert for the area of Supplier Management, preferably with Mechanical/Automation Engineering background, excellent communication skills and the ability to efficiently manage complex internal and external interfaces.

The job holder will be responsible for driving and managing various engineered equipment sourcing and contracting projects as per business request.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a similar, relevant discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in Engineering, R&D, Production or Technical Procurement, preferably in Machinery/Equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication, influencing & leadership skills, ability to align and engage with vendors, internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience in negotiating technical details with suppliers, solid understanding of the portfolio standardization, cost optimization.

Responsibilities:


  • Create, manage and execute specifications and quality control against the defined targets of functionality, cost, standardization and other criteria.
  • Lead and coordinate the supplier selection process to ensure the most ideal option is chosen, leading the technical negotiation.
  • Transfer of supplier's data, documentation and knowhow into the organization.
  • Interfacing with technical organization and disciplines, procurement, production and technical service, aftersales organization.
