The Position:

In line with our focus on customer centricity we establish the new position Global Compliance Officer Finance & Group Functions.

This exciting role will enable a risk-based compliance approach and establish close collaboration between Ethics & Compliance and the Finance & Group Functions.

Tasks & responsibilities:

One of your key tasks will be to develop, implement, and continuously improve our global compliance framework and process standards for Finance & Group Functions.
You will be responsible to leverage and coordinate among compliance and legal experts to provide comprehensive compliance advice and directions and collaborate with existing compliance interfaces like Global Business Services, Human Resources, Global Facilities & Engineering, Corporate Finance and CD Information Technology
Moreover, you will utilize the global network of compliance professionals in our countries and regions to govern and oversee implementation of global standards specific to Finance & Group functions.
In addition, you will be business partner and counsel on respective compliance risk areas (such as ABAC, Third Party Risks, Conflict of Interest, etc.) related business risks and transactions for our organization globally.
Furthermore, you will identify how forwardlooking risks and consideration of changes in legal and regulatory requirements can impact our businesses.
You will be the main contact person for fostering within the Finance & Group Functions leadership teams a culture of integrity and behavioral compliance consistent with Boehringer Ingelheim's organizational values.

Requirements:

Master's degree and/ or Diploma in law and / or business economics
Multiyear experience in a global professional or corporate environment in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Substantial knowledge in respective compliance risk areas, compliance program and processes, good understanding of Finance and Group Function activities
Strategic thinker
Extensive knowledge in ABAC, Third Party Risk Management, Conflict of Interest, Compliance
Proven project management and process design skills
Exceptional skills in collaboration and teamwork and excellent leadership capabilities
Fluency in English is mandatory, German proficiency is beneficial
