We have an unmissable opportunity to join our Yacht Owner Customer Care team at Travelopia


The Yachts division of Travelopia comprises of Sunsail, The Moorings and Leopard Catamarans, which are 3 incredible brands offering customers unique holiday experiences out on the water as well as Yacht Ownership.


In the Yacht Ownership part of the Yachts division, we design spacious, robust, cruising catamarans in collaboration with Robertson and Caine.

We also purchase a large number of sailing monohulls from Groupe Beneteau for our charter fleet.

The yacht sales activity at Travelopia Yachts includes the sale of new charter yachts in the Moorings and Sunsail ownership programs, the worldwide exclusive distribution of Leopard Catamarans and the sale and brokering of used yachts, either out of the charter fleet or privately owned.

We offer hybrid working, with access to our Bad Vilbel office and also the flexibility to work remotely at times as well.

We offer this role as part-time, working 18.75 hours per week and we encourage flexibility on how you would like to work these hours, which can be discussed throughout the recruitment process.


What you will be doing

Handle all yacht owner booking inquiries and requests

  • Take reservations for Moorings, Sunsail and Footloose owners who have purchased their yachts through the German office
  • Assist in all manners concerning organization of the owner's vacation including air reservations, hotels, insurance, pricing
  • Assist owner with queries about nauticalrelated information and general queries about the cruising grounds
  • Advise owners of changes in their flight details/timings

Help support owners with queries about their use agreement and required documentation

  • Assist owners in understanding their yacht use in relation to their management agreement
  • Understand variations in terms of owner use across brands and how they can be applied to owner bookings

Liaise with other departments

  • To make changes to an owner's vacation as required by Operations / Yield / Product Management
  • To collaborate closely with overseas staff in the event of an owner changing their vacation or encountering a medical problem or short notice bookings
  • Maintain awareness of new owners coming into the program through Yacht Sales and the terms of their agreement

Support Owner Relations Events

  • Travel to boat shows and other brand events as required by the company;
  • In conjunction with owner relations representative, plan and implement annual owners' event such as owners' flotillas and boat show receptions

What we are looking for
We are seeking a dynamic, eloquent, and upbeat individual with proven customer service experience:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service Support and Operations role is crucial and you will need to be fully proficient in both German and English language (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with our German yacht owners
  • High standards of customer service and attention to detail
  • A strong positive character and is used to dealing with multiple priorities
  • Proactive in finding solutions to problems, able to use initiative to find out answers to questions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
