We are looking for a person who have the passion to work as an Environmental Specialist on Fleet Standardisation, Optimisation & Projects.


About the role

  • In this role you will develop and implement fleet standardisations processes for environmental management within the Offshore Operations at RWE Offshore Wind.
  • Identify, develop, conduct, mitigate and implement potential environmental hazards and risks management within the Offshore Operations fleet at RWE Offshore Wind.
  • Develop and implement fleet standardisations and procedures for monitoring and
- reporting on environmental performance.

  • Support the site HSE Managers/Advisors in the communication with relevant stakeholders including regulators, community members, and project team members to ensure that the fleet and sites' environmental impact is understood and minimized.
  • Support the fleet to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental laws and
- regulations including obtaining and maintaining necessary permits and licenses.

  • Be responsible to drive fleet Environmental Standardisations, Optimisation & other relevant projects.
  • Train the Operations fleet in Environmental Management and its importance.

Who are we looking for
We are looking for you who has experience in developing, implementing and maintaining a certifiable HSE Management System, i.e.

implementation of ISO We believe you have a good knowledge of environmental legislation ideally for all operating countries (DE, DK, SWE, UK) for aspects relating to the operating offshore wind farms, including activities taking place onshore.


Your Profile

  • Audit qualification such as ISO 14 001, preferably lead auditor in ISO
  • Any relevant environmental certifications, example IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels through verbal and written communication including active listening skills.
  • Experience as Environmental professional, preferably in Offshore Wind.
  • Be able to demonstrate a flexible, practical and proactive approach to managing operational environmental challenges.
  • To have effective organisational skills, reliable, systematic, proactive and pragmatic approach. Able to work under pressure, teamoriented.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good health, with general all round fitness to work in an offshore environment is a
- requirement for the role.

  • The role will be based at any of our offices or at any of our Operational sites facilities.
