JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

For the Portfolio department in Stuttgart we are looking for a full-time intern for 6 months, starting from the next possible date.

The Portfolio team is global active and has offices located in Germany, France, Switzerland, USA and Singapore. Many projects are implemented cooperatively on a global level, which leads to a very international working life.

We provide you with a detailed insight into all aspects of Portfolio Management of the complete cycle of real estate investments.

In this context, the team is not only involved in the transaction assessment and valuation, but also in the analysis and strategic orientation of our existing portfolios as well as potential sale processes.

The overseen portfolio consists of investments in Germany, Austria, UK, Eastern Europe and Scandinavian. This offers an exciting insight into very diversified and dynamic real estate markets.

Furthermore, our team is responsible for the following sub-areas of

Portfolio Management:

Assessment of potential developments as well as acquisitions and dispositions, asset valuation, strategic further development and optimization of existing portfolio (asset strategy & business plan review), management reporting and performance analysis.

An active and open communication with Asset Management, Investment team as well as our investors represents the base of an efficient collaboration with focus on outperformance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support all team members in respective areas, with a detailed insight into various areas of responsibility including the execution of own projects with self-reliant analyses after successful initial training

Assist in designing and implementing effective analysis tools

Insight into operational real estate decisions and active management of one of the largest institutional real estate portfolios in Europe

Take high level of personal responsibility for (partial) projects about portfolio analysis including interdisciplinary and/or international projects

Participate in the preparation of presentations and decision making templates for internal/external stakeholders

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and experience in the preparing PowerPoint presentations desired

Proactive, structured and responsible work style with hands-on mentality

First experience with real estate investment cashflow-models useful

Fluent in English and German
