Job Purpose:


Responsible for the management of the technical pre sales and solution architect function within a strategic Business Unit, working in conjunction with vendors, resellers and partners to reinforce TD SYNNEX's strategy in action brief as a 'Collection of Specialists'.


Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of technical strategies deployed within the Business Unit.
  • Technical representation on the Business Unit leadership team.
  • Day to day management of practice leads providing direction including HR, commission plans, performance reviews and operational activities.
  • Relationship owner with key vendor contacts.
  • One to one management of key contacts in top spend partners.
  • Onboarding and strategic planning of new vendor inception and presales responsibilities associated with the new vendor operations.
  • Reporting of key business statistics, dashboarding and vendor accreditation compliance to senior business unit team.
  • Work with Business Unit directors and managers to ensure all critical presales and technical BU requirements are met.
  • The creation and ongoing management of the unified culture, processes and working practices required of a consolidated, combined technical support business.
  • Liaison with config centre to drive sales strategy and technical processes in line with business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio.
  • Telephone System.
  • SAP R3, Compass and Business Warehouse.
  • Ebusiness systems.
  • TD SYNNEX processes.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, priority management and planning skills.
  • Previous experience of people management.
  • Experience of working with a budget.
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve mutual objectives.
  • Strategic thinking.


  • IT industry knowledge

  • Channel, Vendors, Competition and End User is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of product and technology portfolio is mandatory.
  • Business planning experience and commercial exposure.
