The IT division (GBIT) at Münster University Hospital plays a key role in digitalizing patient care, with a team of over 100 experts serving approximately 11,000 employees, patients, their families, and collaborative partners. We focus on streamlining processes and enhancing professional communication. Serving as one of the leading IT departments in the Münsterland region, we oversee a vast network including 6,500 workstations, 1,000+ servers, and the ongoing development of our business and clinical systems, primarily leveraging SAP and Orbis, as well as managing critical strategic IT projects.
Our objective is to ensure the seamless, secure, and highly available integration of modern information and communication technology. The Clinical Systems team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the central HIS and other specialized IT platforms.
